I’m not here because I am Liz’s best friend. Although Liz has indeed been my best friend. But she has for many of us, been our best friend, a great aunt, a thoughtful sister, a most precious mom and wife. And that is the measure of her. She made her life count Every action thoughtful, intentional, determined. And we became more because of her. With truth, love, respect, courage, strength, honesty, wisdom. She always had our best interests at heart and made a way for many of us to feel loved and accepted. And she did this while making life fun, creative and meaningful. Rest my Angel: Angels walk among us so they say, Taking our troubles And shaking them away Did you know I know one? I certainly do, She came like a rocket, And saw the whole of the moon. Our Angel has purpose, did you know that for sure? She puts our jigsaw pieces together, And rebuilds our jenga towers. This is Liz, our best friend, our sister, our mom, She's walked alongside us, Sometimes carried us along. She's worked hard, So it's time for her to hang up those wings And it's now our job to remember a few things Her laughter, her madness, her bloody good cake Most of all let's remember her Our friend, our sister, our angel, our mate. Be More Liz: So I have a request, Let’s make her life continue to count Let’s be more passionate, more thoughtful, more fun Because these were her qualities that made us more. Dear Liz How we will miss you, your lovely personality, smile and laugh. We will hold memories of you in our hearts and especially we remember that lovely last evening at Bedgellert 2019, when we thought everyone else has left, but there you where with you family and what s wonderful evening we had, with so much laughter and joy.
